IRM was founded in Ethiopia in 1997 as a mission organisation to share the good news of Jesus Christ to the nations of the world.Since then, it has conducted hundreds of conferences and seminars all over the world.
IRM was registered as a non profit 501(c)3 organisation in 2003 in Maryland state but now is located in Woodbridge, VA. For the last few years, IRM focus has expanded to walk the talk in concrete actions of our love for people. We worked on justice and peacemaking projects especially in Ethiopia and the neighboring countries. The initiatives of IRM that includes National dialogue are recognized and supported by the EU from Brussels and by US congress funded NGOs in Washington D.C. We also advise the state department and the EU on security and peace issues.
IRM is a member of the National Association of Evangelicals,NAE, which is based in Washington DC.
Another major area IRM is focusing is the harmony of science and religion for the advancement of human peace, happiness and prosperity. We believe that the 21st century generation is not ready for religious teachings that are against scientific discoveries. Extremism, fundamentalism and fanaticism are the enemies of rational understanding of the holy scripts of the major faiths.We are members of BioLogos, one of the leading organisations that brings scientists and theologians together for a conversation and is founded by NIH director Francis Collins.Our founder Rev.Daniel Haile was able to discuss these issues with leading scientists like Richard Dawkins and atheism statesman Christopher Hitchens.
IRM has conducted Bible and science seminars in 10 countries. He has received an honorary doctorate this year for his work of bringing awareness of the harmony between science and faith from a Christian University in California.Our organisation is also working with Muslim organisations closely. We even got a very rare invitation to speak in a city wide Muslim convention here in Washington D.C. Millions of Muslims in East Africa are aware and appreciate IRM’s work of Peace and Justice.

Our Founder
Rev.Dr.Daniel Haile is the Founder and Director of International Revival Ministry, IRM.
He was born in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, in January 1966.
There were complications during his birth and both himself and his mother survived the difficult situation.
He did his secondary school and college in French education system and got his first baccalau bachelor Degree in BioChemistry.
After the Lord changed his life in 1983, he committed himself to follow Jesus as his savior and immediately started to share the gospel.
Though he became a mathematics teacher in a French high school in Ethiopia, the burden of ministry was so heavy on him that he resigned and started preaching and traveling.
Because he believed in the balance of the Spirit and the Word, he took theology degree courses and got certified as a minister of Bible and Theology by Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, New Jersey, USA.
By God’s grace he ministered in 50 countries, in all continents and in 300 cities and towns.
From Tonga island to the east where the sun rises first to Samoa, where the sun sets last.
Crusades and outreaches with world renowned evangelists like Reinhard Bonnke, Luis Palau and Josh McDowell. He was also blessed to meet and pray with mother Theresa, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, John Kerry, African presidents and prime ministers.
The last few years, he focused on “walking the talk” by being active on peacemaking and justice especially in Ethiopia where there is a lot of conflict. Together with International Institutions, he is leading National Dialogue projects that bring together political, religious and civic leaders.
His passion for religion and science was there for several years. He was able to have discussion about it with world renowned atheists Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens and is a member and active participant of bio logos ministry, a science and faith reconciliating organization founded by prominent US scientist and NIH director Francis Collins.
Right now, he is doing research for the John Templeton Foundation on the impact of Science on Religions.
Rev.Daniel is the founder and Director of the 501(c) 3, International Revival Ministry,IRM, since June 2003.
He lives in Fredericksburg, VA with his wife Betty and their 2 children Jonathan (18) and Deborah(16)
